Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and Lukáš Jakoubek, Kubova 505/6, Karlín, 186 00 Praha, company no. 04598482, covering your use of ScrySpire ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

The service

ScrySpire helps Magic: The Gathering playgroups log games and track pod stats, decks and achievements. It is provided "as is" during its beta and early releases, and features may change.

Eligibility

You must be at least 15 years old and able to form a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

Your content and conduct

• You own the content you submit (display names, decklists, thread posts). You grant us the licence needed to store and display it so the app works for you and your pod.
• There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable content, do not harass others, do not post illegal content, and do not try to get around pod privacy or access rules.
• Thread titles, posts, event titles and descriptions, and open-table notes are checked against a list of prohibited words, and text that contains one is refused. Anyone can report a thread, a post or an open table, or block its author.
• We review every report and act on it within 48 hours: objectionable content is removed and the accounts that post it are suspended. Suspending an account also cancels the open tables it was hosting; the players seated at them are notified. Every pod a suspended account owns is handed to one of its admins — or, if it has none, to the member who joined it first — who becomes its owner and is notified; restoring the account doesn’t give the pod back. Moderators act through suspension only: they don’t remove anyone from a pod — only a pod’s owner and admins do.
• Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our systems.

Meeting in person

Open tables and public events can bring you together with people you don't know. We don't vet hosts or players, and we aren't responsible for what happens when you meet. Meet in public places such as a game store or café, use your own judgement, and report a table, a player or anything that feels wrong — we act on reports as described above.

Pods and shared data

Pod stats and games are shared with pod members by design. Leaving a pod or deleting your account ends your access; some historical pod data stays visible to other members, without your name attached (see the Privacy Policy).

Payments

The app is currently free to use. If paid features are introduced, the price and terms will be shown to you before you buy, and the purchase itself is handled by the app store you downloaded from, under its own terms and refund rules.

Fan content — Magic: The Gathering

ScrySpire is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. Card data and images come from Scryfall and remain subject to their terms.

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Session. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or abuse the service; suspending an account hands the pods it owns to other members, as described above. A pod creator who still has other members must hand the pod over, or remove those members, before deleting their account.

Disclaimer

The app is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free stats, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lukáš Jakoubek is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Czech law, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer rules.

If part of these Terms fails

If any provision turns out to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and that provision is applied as closely as possible to its original intent.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date, and continued use means acceptance.
